Had the targets pinned up side by side and unloaded a handful of Marlin 60's, one Remington 597 and then fired one shot from a Shockwave 20 gauge. I measured out 20 feet for the Shockwave and fired one shot with 71/2 bird shot in a game load. Nice spread !!! Weird looking targets doing it that way.

How’s the trigger on your 597? I’ve got one, gave another as a gift, both were used, but had really gritty triggers. Accurate enough, but the trigger was no help.

About the same here. The Marlin 60,s stock trigger is better. I am hoping it gets better with time and lots of ammo.

I’m thinking that shows exactly how useless a “Shockwave” or similar tacticool really is.
Unless you’re shooting slugs and staying within pointing distance aka <10’
    *Sorry*

On the contrary my friend, it shows exactly why I have one....or two.....or three. I forget.

Unless you pop ‘em behind the ear with a load of nickels I think they suck.

I wouldn't want to be down on the other end of a hallway from one of those.

20 feet was a nice spread, but 7.5 bird shot wont penetrate much unless you are half the distance, or less, and keep all the shot within a 1 to 2 inch radius, concentrating the full load in a small spot. With a pistol grip, you don't have the advantage of a but stock.

I'm take my chances on the other end of the 300BLK at night. Especially if Kirk forgot to put on his glasses.

But it still doubles as a billy club with the shorty stock.

The 7 1/2 bird shot was used because I was shooting one handed and its a game load. Next time out I will try some buckshot at the same distance.

    Not my thang.
For $300 6 shots that you can aim in .357 in rapid fire too.
