Im not sure if the warranty will cover that but its worth a shot. Send it to the mother ship for refurbishing.

http://i746.photobucket.com/albums/xx109/drp58/Hi-PointC-9004.jpgI recently returned from the range with my C9 and started to clean it before I put it away. I decided to use a new aerosol can of Break Free "Powder Blast" gun cleaner. After spraying out the chamber and around the ejection port I proceeded to wipe the residue off the side. To my absolute horror the black finish stated coming off in my hands!. THE BREAK FREE MELTED OFF THE FINISH/COATING RIGHT OFF THE SIDE!!! Now I have this gummy residue all over may hands and screwed up my C9. Any help!
