What do you think of that AFG? I've always been kinda eyeing them as a possible add on to an AR but never got one.

Only My Own, Yosemite Steve I like it, got an AFG on all my HP carbines. That is the smaller "AFG2" and *I wear a men's large in gloves, so I prefer the original AFG (or AFG1) *Added Emphasis for "big_baby_doug" :rofl:
Some really cheap Airsoft versions are available, I would suggest going that route first, just for a tester. I have seen $5 AFGs
That's pretty much the twin set up to mine, mine also has the factory laser on it, but most of the time the end cap is screwed off... I think these guns like simple and work best that way...
Cool Stuff! I have another version, my 4095 has a short sight arrangement, it peeks under an elevated 4x optic, but I am going to get a Longshot rail that is taller, and use a stock front sight... the short set is a bit low! Cheek weld is too tight, for most people. I also have a modified stock sight, for a closer mount of an optic. It's kinda like Rach's modified stock rear sight, just a bit longer and easier for the average Hi Pointer, with limited tools. All you need is a hack saw and a vise or clamp to hold it while you cut.

The lip that curls around the stock won't fit our carbines. I can trim it with a utility knife and a heat gun. I did mount one on the G2 KrapTek Sub2000 with no mods. It feels great. That thing needed something out there. I still have room for a taclight. I didn't scroll down low enough to realize they were for Airsoft guns. There is no MagPul markings. I did search MP's site and thought they were a discontinued model. Thought that's why they were so cheap! Didn't do a good search anywhere else. One FDE is going on the Zhukov forearm on the AK. Not a perfect color match. No biggie. I need to order some MLOK rails to mount it.
LOVE IT!! 4 things I don't like about it. 1. pointy pinching trigger bottom tip (easily fixed) 2. no LRHO 3. sellers bend you over on the price 4. the 33rd Glock mags cause it to eat way too much ammo! A Sub2000 is the only KrapTek I would buy. I am leary of getting one in .40.
