So I did it. I must not have cleaned her out well enough. First, the rifle is not perfect to start with. The wood is in decent shape but the barrel and grooves have seens better days and it was counter bored. Well its my first Mosin and I shot corrosive ammo through her. I cleaned with windex to the point I thought it was good and then did the normal procedures. Well I picked it up a week later and saw some rust :( in the barrel. I feel like such a nuckle head. I ran through the cleaning procedures again and keep getting clean patches through it. I oiled her up and put her in eye sight to make sure to check for rust over the next few days.

So guys how do you clean your stuff that you shoot corrosive ammo through? I dont want to make this mistake again :(.
