Just wanted to show off my bag load out. I just updated it, new stove, water bottle, nesting cup, and saw. I put it together as a fishing bag, something to keep me dry, make a cup of coffee, maybe a meal. It has turned into something I use almost every day.

The bad is a FAMI Outdoors 6 liter sling bag with Gogoku pouches. Ti bottle is by BLUU Titaniun, nesting cup is from Boundless Voyage. Stove is from Lixada, Cutting tools are all Ozark Trail. Tarp is Outdoor Products. Ferro rod is UST, and match safes are Coghlans, one holds matches, the other petroleum soaked cotton balls. Mini medical / boo-boo kit is Helikon-Tex. Folding spoon, 325 Paracord, and a Frogg Toggs poncho round out the kit. Not shown is a small Ti frying pan from Boundless Voyage.

I like your setup for the short trek and stay. Where's the "Lifestraw" and compass? I think it should be something to have on hand.

I keep those in my other packs. Considering the TOU for this pack I do not think they are necessary. Although there are water purification tablets in the boo-boo pouch. If I need water I am going to boil it anyways. That’s my preferred method regardless of what pack I am carrying.

And same with the compass. This pack will only see places that I am familiar with, besides I will have my smart phone.

There will be navigation in any pack where I am trailblazing. Usually a compass and a Garmin, along with the cell phone. Built in redundancies.

My garmin is my GPS watch. Bought with my yearly $200 fitness money from work.

I have the Apple Watch/Phone/Tablet. The GPS works together on all of them.

We're not allowed to use the money on Apple or Android watches. They are more smart phone then fitness oriented according to our company. Garmin and fitbit types are all okay though.

I guess I can understand that. Not really, but it’s their policy I guess.

I bought my Apple Watch specifically for health and fitness. It monitors my AFIB and SVT.

It is an Outdoor Products 5x7 tarp, bought at Walmart. I also have the Outdoor Products 9.5x12 tarp, but it just will not fit in the diminutive bag. They are decent tarps for a little bit of money.

It says on the tag it's Outdoor Products, which is a well established company of good gear. Besides, I've never seen a Wally tarp come in its own bag for handling ease. Walmart has Ozark Trails tarps and don't come in a odd size of 5x7. Theirs comes in standardized sizes of 4x8, 6x10, 6x12, and 12x14' sizes. I'm using some camo Stealth Angel tarps that we've put in our 13L bugout bags which looks about same size of Greg's bag. Have some regular 4x8 tarps for tossing on ground to help keep dry under the SA (over the clothesline) tarps to make for quick tents of gear and ourselves. Gotten a lot of stuff from Stealth Angel for emergency equipment that most local stores don't carry.

Well, I've been proven incorrect. Didn't know or seen these particular tarps or Outdoor Products at my local WM, but they do get in new stuff every now and then for the outdoor entheusiast.

My Walmart has none of those products. Not a single one. Couple of backpacks. That's about it.
