Having a private area for paid memberships is pretty ridiculous for one brand forum sponsored by a gun manufacturer

I used to let the private viewing section bother me too. BUT, then I figured that they were probably talking about ME? And that was GREAT, because then they were NOT talking about YOU?
Besides that, I'm sure they were using those 4-letter words I USED to use when I was a child!

You would probably enjoy it. Lot of open honest religious discussions. Personally I keep my membership for the storage space.

I can go through the obvious; a forum isn't free.
Bandwidth, servers about half a dozen other things that need to be paid. Since Obama care doesn't include gun forums somebody needs to foot the bill.

I was gonna say the same basic thing. This forum costs money to be up and running.

Having a private area for paying members is nice to have.

And SWAGA knocks it out of the park yet again! :)

  12. I like this forum. And I appreciate the fact that it's free. Lots of good info on here. As soon as I can afford it, I plan on being a paid supporter. These guys are keeping it running for me. A private area is a good way to pay the bills. And if I wanted everything free, I woulda quit my job and signed up for obamacare and all the other "free stuff" that others are also paying for.

Nobody is putting a loaded Hi-Point to your head and making you join the paying section. Many people don't, and they can still enjoy this site.

There are plenty of free areas on the site, if you want to start discussions in them all you have to do is post.
