I sent my CX4 off to Gripreductions.com and had the bow removed. I've add a Reddot sight and the a barrel shroud. Next I want to try and make a shroud like the ones used on Battlestar Galactica.

I like the way that looks better than the ATI without the bow. Looks nice. What'd they charge?

Ouch, why not just ATI a 995 and do that, not sure I'd cut on a $600+ dollar gun, the 995 without bow looks better than the storm without one too

The resale on that storm just went from a Honda Accord to a Chevy Cavalier :cantlook:

Frankly, I'm a little concerned that you're trying to mold your firearm after some wacky TV show. HOWEVER, looks infinitely better without the stupid bow--don't listen to the guys above.

Looks are not a concern, I've found that my right thumb hits the bow when I try to bring the carbine to my shoulder rapidly. I'm planning to use it as a home defense gun and want in the best for me configuration. I got it from a seller that needed money in a hurry. I only paid $425 for the carbine. The sight and shroud set me back another $125. I paid $65 for the bow removal and texture on the grip. The main reason I'm think about a different shroud is to add a bit more muzzle weight, I've found if I add about 8 ounces more I swing through a moving target better.
