So I was over at my dads house showing of my new to me maverick pump, and he takes me out to the shed and shows me his new find. the story goes , that he was at a garage sale, when he saw a plastic rifle stock. When he took a closer look it was an armalite ar7 survival rifle. The guy at the sale didn't know what he had. He thought it was just a stock, and sold it to my dad for 1 dollar. Of course everything was in the water tight compartment. A little rem oil and some .22lr rounds and she was just fine. I am so jealous.

If it is an original Armalite made rifle he has a nice little shooter. The Armalite ones are a lot better made than the Charter Arms models. The ones made recently have plastic bbls (steel liner) that tend to get chewed up easily.
