Can you guys help me identify this mag? It is not a 1911.
Looks like a full size 3rd gen S&W 8 rounder, trying to track down which ones were 8 or more... most were 7 rd iirc
S&W was not ambi, but another pic I found shows the mag catch
right near the same location, if you can trust the witness holes
for the round counters as being consistent in location. Could be
a generic aftermarket S&W mag, I'd love to try that in my 457
7 round version, check the mag catch placement:
Looks like a match to me, on catch placement...
My guess: S&W 4506, one BAMF!
Has a catch on both sides. That right? This is to thick to fit in a 1911 mag well.
I think this might be an aftermarket mag for the S&W
High speed photo of the S&W 4506 at work!
Me likie the rifling in the smoke!
I heard the 1006 was a hell of a pistol. I would like to see one.
It is the Holy Grail of MOLE, maybe my "White Whale"
The 4506 would be a suitable foil, until I could get the 1006
DANE, I am convinced that is an aftermarket 4506/4516 magazine...
Might fit something else, and it also looks like the pistols could be
converted to a lefty mag release. Just like most other handguns!
