I have never given alot of thought to my holsters but I found a deal on a Don Hume for my newest XD45 Tactical and bought it. Well after carrying concealed with it for a few days now I can tell you that I never again will be stingy when it comes to holsters. this is by far the most comfortable and supportive holster I have ever had. It rides high enough and holds the XD close to my side so that even with a large framed gun like the .45 Tactical, my printing is less than my other holsters carrying my Sigma .40 IWB.

Now I have ordered one for the Mrs. and her main carry gun, a Kel-Tec PF-9

I love my Don Hume holster for my Glock! It's the most comfortable one I ever tried, and like you mentioned it sits nice and tight against your side. When I first got it mine was a bit stiff and wasn't comfortable for sitting down but after a month or so it loosened up. Now I hardly notice it's there.
