    I bought a new C9 with the G916 holster for $152.00
Really looking forward to picking it up at the FFL
    dealer Wednesday.
Planning on using only quality rounds in it, no
    garbage rounds.
With that said, I have taken 3 weeks abuse from
Gun Snob friends putting the weapon down just
    because of the price.
I ask them if their 1 to 3 thousand dollar guns come
with the same type of warranty Hi Point comes with
    and the room goes silent.
    The videos on YouTube....,
I guarantee these people would not do to a Kimber or a Glock, what they
do to a Hi Point, just to make themselves look like fools!
    Negative advertising works!

    Welcome to the forum!

What good is a cheap gun if you don't shoot cheap ammo ? :D
If I can help it I shoot Tula in my .45 JHP

$152 for a new C-9 AND the Galco paddle holster is a very reasonable price indeed:)!!! I have that holster and like it a lot but it doesn't conceal well without bulky clothing:(.

Why waste $$ on "quality" ammo? If the less expensive stuff "runs well" in your gun why not use it? If you plan on using your C-9 for personal protection you may wish to focus more on "reliability". There can be a huge difference between quality and reliability BUT they can go hand in hand. You just have to figure it out by trial and error.

I was teased for a while by some gun snobs but not so much anymore. Many have "stepped across the aisle" after they realized that an inexpensive gun (namely a HiPoint) can still be a reliable, accurate and fun to shoot firearm. they might not be total converts but the teasing gets dialed way back:).
