Hi, Ya'll. I purchased my first handguns several weeks ago..two C9's (one for me, one for my son) and a Phoenix Arms .25 ACP (for wife). Like a kid with a pocket full of allowance, I couldn't wait to get to the range, so I stopped on my way home from the gunshow to give them a try. I shot a box of Aguilla through one of the C9s, with a jam or two the first couple of magazines, then all was well.
I've been back twice, once with my daughter, once with my son, since then. I've put about 400 rounds through my C9: the Aguilla, 4 boxes of Magtech, and two of PMC. Not a single jam. Love that gun. I installed the ghost site, but I think I'll have to paint the inside pins on it, as target acquisition time suffers over the open sights. Also installed a Hogue Handall grip..that was waiting for me in the mail when I got back form the range the last time, so I haven't shot with it on yet.
My son shot about 200 rounds of PMC and Magtech through his - first time out of the box with no jams.
The Phoenix Arms .25 ACP is a very nice little inexpensive gun. I've put about 300 rounds through it with no problems at all.
