Hey guys I jus spent $300 on a new hi point 4095 a week and a half ago. I went and picked it up last night and finally had a chance to go shoot it today but, when I went to feed the first bullet into the barrel the 40 s&w was sticking out about a 1/4 inch. Is there anything anyone can do to give me some help? I know I could send it back to the company or the shop where I bought it but id rather not wait, and would definitely would like to be able to fix the problem myself.
    Thanks

Well have it figured out, nothin' but simple operator error. I didn't realize when i cocked back the handle i had to let it slap back on its own lol finally got to shoot the other day and absolutely love it. Ive only owned shotguns so it was new to me. At least i didn't have to send it back!

All semi autos should be racked and released for proper operation.

Welcome Jayt, from the great southwest!!

Glad you figured it out. The carbines are extremely reliable. I knew there wasn't anything wrong that couldn't be figured out.

    Enjoy! And welcome again.
