New family member. (Temporarily I Hope)

  1. Got calls from 3 neighbors yesterday asking if our dog was loose.
Nope we said he's sleeping with our boy right now.

Eventually we figure out that a neighbor 1/4 mile away has a brindle boxer that was running loose for days. He is an old man so he can't handle such a high energy young dog. So we decided to take him in if someone comes for him though he's theirs.
He took him to the vet no chip or tattoos. No collar or tags. About 1 year old. Still has balls.

He is the one on the left. Named him Brutus. He is bigger and darker than our older boxer Ollie.
But I can see how they would think it was him.
Some more pictures. Excuse the dirty house, been a hectic day.

    Ppfffttt. Dirty house.

If a house isn't at LEAST that "dirty", I'd wonder what was wrong with the folks that live there.:p

And I agree with Moonzy, that dog is already home.:)

At what point does your daughter learn that her father has forever immortalized her on the internet digging for gold nuggets?

  5. LMAO, when her first boyfriend comes over.:rofl:

  6. I noticed the booger hook to:rolleyes:

  7. He will be the 4th boxer we have had.

He does know sit and stay. But not lay down. And he seems pretty darn stubborn. All boxers are stubborn, but we always trained them when they were light and easy to push around. This darn mutt is so big and thick takes all my weight to push hi around.
He isn't used to cats yet either, he still thinks they are for eating (i agree)

Our dog we got has eaten both couches table and tries to eat the cats. And like to fight with our old lab. This mutt is going to a new home. You want another one? :-D

  9. Give her a break, I bet you picked your nose long past 4 yrs old.

  10. The first dog to eat the couch, will be the first dog I shot ;)

I need a dog but not one that is stubborn and stronger than I am lol

  19. Yeah, this isn't a dog for anyone who isn't strong, strong willed, and used to them.

Wife has to take him to the Vet already, he tried to eat a cat and half hour later he was limping. This morning he has a fist sized lump on his knee of that leg, and he isn't using it.

Could have been from me yanking him off the cat, could have been from the cat being attached to him.
    who knows.
