I've owned a C9 Comp for 10+ years with no issues so I finally bought my second Hi Point, a 9mm carbine. Just waiting for it to arrive. I've been impressed with the durability over the years, especially for the price paid. The carbines seem to have a great reputation and for $240, I figured it couldn't be beat. I did have a lot of trouble actually finding one in stock. I looked at a half-dozen online retailers for weeks before I finally found one (only one) on Cheaper Than Dirt. It seems like the prices on other guns, like AR15s, are dropping and they are everywhere. The price of the Hi Point carbines are still high, when you can even find them!

Welcome gunslinger, the carbines are the best bang for your buck for sure. I cant beleive it took you over 10 yrs to buy one.
