Yes Brother, I was ther in 78, yes indeed.. Best thing I did To Make me A Man.
Long winded here, Excuse that
Im Piddling around with this Old JC40, just to. Get in Low $, an learn the ropes, with MOM, an forum members here. Its not much, however buying American when I can makes me remember the old days.
Tks 4 the tip. I would like to ad a realtively current C9 mm model pistol, with a 9mm carbine as well eventually.. with the Price of ammo at least the 9 mm is more economical than my 40's... I have a S An W MP 40 full size. , I do like the Big Boom ones as well.
Her Action is smooth, trigger good, safety works. Slide not cracked. On outside. No rust anywhere I can see so far.
She looks old, cared for Old, Not BMW care,
Chevie care,. I have kept old charity cases off an on for 46 years. I just got into The Hipoint thing, . Just proud their USA made an still Making an improving and Expanding
. I did in fact speak to Iberia MOM,
Couple days ago, Apparently Hes had a bit of loose barrell in the old jc40's, he brought that issue up as he talked. Said Hell fix the loose barrell for me, . "Got a 3/32 roll Pin Punch comin Monday". . Ill break Her,down MondayI do have a bit of a loose barrell from my inital inspection.
Your right Hes permantely out of magazines, barrels, entire lower reciever. Some other parts he may have. He did say to look an buy magazines, parts, hed send me springs."Saw a Package deal of $ $95.00 shipped on ebay of a broken down jc40, . Will wait an see What MOM does first, I got the Impression theyd do what they can , til She Breaks what they Dont Have. Very impressive, nobody does .
Ill get Her up an Running an keep in car an or my motorcycle , an shoot sparingly, she seems well broken in at her age to say the least
So its kinda Sorta ,They look an do what they can, from my impression. Which is a good sign for the Future of current an future owners.if MOM hang in there.
With covid, recession, etc. Those under 200..00 brand new Hipointz may outpace the 200.00--900.00
Sooner than later.
I"ll post Her Journey as time goes on.
