I've owned several Hi Point pistols & a couple weeks ago finally got a 995 carbine. I got to shoot it yesterday for the first time, though limited to 50 feet at a indoor pistol range. I was really impressed with the way it functions, very light recoil. I was hitting the target about 8 o'clock, a couple sight adjustments & it was dead on. I had removed the springs from the butt pad, I didn't care for the look or the movement & still had little recoil. Only thing I would recommend, I noticed while sweeping brass that my muzzle brake had come loose & fallen off & the bolt handle had also come loose. I had tightened both pretty tight, so after cleaning I used blue lock tight on both. Really happy with this carbine, I may look into a 45 cal.

Yea, we know. Surprisingly, that's exactly how we fix it too.
