Just got my first HP in trade this weekend. It's an older model 995 carbine that looks like it's going to be a lot of fun.

First thing I did was take it completely apart, scrub it down in soapy water to get all the grime and cigarette residue off if it, and then shoot it with some Krylon and Rustoleum Camo ultra flat paint. The metal is all flat black and the furniture is OD green. I already have a TS stock conversion on the way.

I have had an AR in the past and it was a blast to shoot. I currently carry a Glock 19 ccw and it's nice to be able to use the same ammo in both guns.

The only issue I have is that my reloads are too long to fill the magazine. The OAL was set for my Glock and they are a hair too long for the HP magazine.
