I can tell you that I had a very good experience with Jimenez customer service . Short version is I sent them a broken JA9 ... and told them it was used when I got it. They still sent me a brand new in the box pistol...

I had a similar experience, which speaks well of Jimenez.

Unfortunately it all turned sour when it arrived here; since the new handgun had to be transferred thru an FFL, and Jimenez pistols are not on the mAssachoo$hitz kompliant list, my FFL couldn't give me the gun. I ended up transferring and selling it to an out-of-state FFL.

Why not? You could put a valve stem cap on it and just call it an air gun.

I know we've strayed off the subject of this thread but I had an offer to buy a barely used Beretta Tomcat .32 with the flip up barrel. Did a little research and there were lots of issues with the frame cracking. The guy wants $300 for the Tomcat. I'm on the fence about it.

LOTS of issues with frame cracking on the Tomcat, and Beretta has been less than stellar on making good on a design that is not up to handling .32ACP. I too have been offered them as well and have passed; and this is coming from a guy who buys Brycos, Jennings, and Lorcins. (oh my!)
