I'll say it first - Glock mags?
You put your HiPoints in a safe? You're crazy, man. How can you sleep at night knowing that you have a dirty gun in your safe???
Sigh.... that's so beautiful. I have a wooden thumbhole stock for my AR, but it's all blue & green stain. I'd like to do a wooden lower......you'd get a wood furniture AR

Why?Just so you know, you really ought to clean YOUR gun a lot more often than every thousand rounds or so.....![]()
Be still my beating heart. YUM!
Pretty much. Even Mossbergs take Glock mags now.Yeah next time I go into a gun shop I'm gonna point to the first Glock I see and ask " Does it take Glock mags? Cause you know everything else does now."
That's all you've got? Many modern firearms get along fine w/ adding oil, & not cleaning for a few thousand rounds. Not all, but quite a few. Religiously cleaning after firing was born of corrosive powders and primers, both of which are now thankfully rare. Now you only need to clean if it's getting so dirty you're getting malfunctions.Ask your wife.
I think the new mag will likely fit in HighTower's bullpup stock. Remember HighTower's been teasing us w/ a double/single coffin mag, repeatedly telling us they've reserved room in the magwell for a future high capacity magazine?Does anyone think theyre gonna offer a 15 rd mag and new stock for the 995 series with that new mag body?
I would, but I'm a contrarian. If you have a nice 10mm or .45" can, would be helpful on the new carbine.Hey man fuel filters, oil filters, Maglight housings whatever gets it done, right? I mean would you really thread a pricey brand name can on a Hi Point?
Looking @ the mockup of the new mag and the ambidextrous mag releases, I'm now thinking not. They just didn't want to redesign the trigger or the interior of the slide. Molds be expensive.I've been wondering that myself.
