New to HPFF and new gun owner!
Hey everyone. I just put my first gun/first hi-point on hold at a local gunshop and I going to buy it on Wednesday! I'm excited to finally be a gun owner and can't wait to be able to fire my own weapon and not have to mooch off of my friends guns and ammo for once.

I Went with the C9! One of my friends has one and loves it and I found one close to home for $139.99. I am a recent college grad and wanted the most bang for my the buck. Based on what I have heard from friends and online reviews, I couldn't go wrong. Thanks for the welcome.

Thanks for the info guys. I am going to tomorrow to pay for my hi-point and I am going to pick up some cleaning materials as well as some ammo. I was a little apprehensive when buying any gun because I am such a noob but with the info provided by you guys on this site it seems less daunting. Thanks again and I'll let you know how things progress.
