Always kind of wanted a Lee Challenger Press. Never really had a need for one. I have now a Lee Classic Cast Turret, the Pro 4000, and a Reloader C style press that I use for case prep and loading some handgun rounds. Anyway, I ran across a Challenger press used, but what looks to be in good condition. Just not paying $75 for a press that I can buy new for less than $100. The seller reached out for offers. I got the press for $40. Just have to go pick it up.

Well….I don’t do yard sales nor Facebook, so that explains that.
If it makes you feel better. I'm on Facebook and never see it either.

No shit! My last perusal of marketplace had some dude in Colorado Springs asking $20k for an '06 HD Electra Glide with 40k miles on it. Like, seriously? That was the price brand spanking new, fully loaded, of the showroom floor in 2005. That bike is worth $6k TOPS.

I don’t do Facebook either, but my girls do. Occasionally they come to me with finds that they think I may like.

I worry more about the meetup. I don’t want strangers coming to my house, and I am not going to theirs. I will meet in a public place.

Not sure what marketplace is. The girls do yard sale. It’s all local. The youngest who just had her baby got a like new bassinet for $25 that I was about to pay over $200 for new.

Another thing is when you do meet up with these people, while you might not know them personally, you probably have seen them or at least know of them. I had my daughters sell a backpack for me, the person I sold it to met me at the local diner. We had seen each other there many times. He is a member of another forum I frequent and we both knew we were neighbors. I sold my backpack, had a good breakfast, made a new friend.

It's part of the FB Marketplace. It's the "garage sale" filter.

That's how it works here too. My wife knows the type of things that I'd be interested in and tells me when they pop up.

My wife does the same as your daughters greg. She shows me deals I maybe interested in. Whenever we make a deal we meet folks in public fairly busy parking lots.

I've done many deals in the local PD's parking lot.

Peace favor your sword,
Kirk
