No paperwork, stamp, etc needed for this 8.5 pistol.

I'll keep my 20 gauge.
Just saw the cost ouch.
TAURUS needs to make a JUDGE in 12 gauge with an 8" barrel and a recoil absorbing grip or a recoil absorbing muzzle brake and keep the price reasonable.
ATF won't let them import it. They had a trial balloon with a 28 Ga. revolver but it never went to production. IMS, the rumor was that they would have had to import it as a NFA SBS so let the project die.
Peace favor your sword,
I'd rather have a Birds head 16" shot gun. The ONLY thing i like about that fancy high dollar guy is the magazines. more than 5 shots would be nice.
Like Kirk said they tried a 28GA
only way for it to be legal as a pistol is to have rifling and be chambered for something else. IE the Judge is actually chambered in 45LC just so happens .410 plays nice and fits right in there.
Used 12ga = $300
Tax Stamp = $200
Pistol Grip = $20
Hacksaw = $10
Now that gives new meaning to the term "sawn off." Sweet Mother McCray!
I could see uses for it, people in bear country for example. Home defense too. But at $1200? NOPE! It is a modified mossy 500 basically!
It was in the movie "Killing Them Softly". Wasn't a very good movie.
