Has anyone used this stuff or even heard about it?
Is this stuff safe to use?
Non corrosive = Lead free?

Sorry, I'm a noob.

norinco ammo is good to go. non-corrosive just means you don't have to clean it with windex right after shooting, just clean as normal. should be good plinking ammo. brass is reloadable too.

How would I find out if it has a steel core?
What is so special about it?
Would it be safe to take one to a grinder?

I recently picked up a couple of boxes of Norinco at a gun show. Came in red boxes though. $10 per. I've had no problems with it.

hold a magnet next to the bullet. if its attracted its steel core. steel core 9mm is rated to puncture most soft bullet proof vests so it was banned from further importation or sale. having that stuff is ULTRA rare and is worth more to cartridge collectors than for shooting

I had some a good while back that was in a yellow box that looked just like that. Probably the same ammo just packaged different. It shot good.

I shot it at the range and out of 25 rounds + or -, one casing stuck in the barrel.
After the FTE, I stopped using them.
