Obama adminsitration to make illegal even posting gun information to internet

    Yeah. Just a tad dated. There was a big thread about it somewhere around here. I'll see if I can find it.

    But, basically, so far nothing has seemed to happen.

    I think he may be taking his "Pen" a step too far if he does. I believe exercising your 1st Amendment right is still legal? But then again, just one more law he's trampled on with his Totalitarian, egotistical, spoiled brat, I'm the king mentality. Maybe he'll pout again and get his way :foilhat:

    It was based on a somewhat vague "interpretation" of the Arms Export Control Act, which was about keeping military applicable technology in the U.S. and out of the hands of, well, every one else. It's why certain computer programs can't be "exported" legally.

    In this case, he was trying to say that detailed information about some (nebulously defined) guns getting "out there" is a threat to the U.S. National security and, thus, you can't post info where just anyone can read it.
