    Well, I just watched a couple of the videos and I can say for sure that I wouldn't want to be anywhere near that guy. Probably a knowledgeable guy, but on the caliber video every gun he pulls out is loaded and he waves it all over the place. I bet the film crew was less than happy. He also had a few technical details incorrect (increasing the length of the barrel doesn't increase the pressure on the bullet), but overall not to bad.

  9. I believe this is true as well. Anecdotally.... our indoor range allows 9MM hand guns, it does not allow 995 carbine - reason I am told is muzzle velocity.

    That is exactly what happens. More time in the barrel gives more time for the bullet to be accelerated under the available pressure. A longer barrel does not increase the pressure of a given load, as he stated.
