No, mag release is on the left and so is the charging handle with an ejection port on the right.
Keep the carbine on target and swap mags with left hand and charge with left hand.
What makes you ask?
Yes. I thought you wanted to go single point? Do what I told you on the other thread.

The reason they tell you to put the mounts on the right is to keep the charging you in the ribs on your back side.
The nut is pressed in. Knock it out with something and stick it in the other side. And if you keep it up with the caps and underscores, that's the last time I help you.

I've had a 40 cal for about 10 years. Being left handed and never had a problem. When you grow up a lefty you learn to adjust to the right handed world.

My Extar9 has a left side charging handle. I'm a righty. Not a problem. I got a right side charging handle for the 995TS. It sucks because to get the bolt to hold open you need to place an empty mag in there to get it to lock back

@ski.dive , I've politely asked you to stop bolding, underlining, and throwing random characters in to your posts. Now I'm just going to delete them.

I shoot lefty off the bench. The casings pinging my shoulder when shooting say, "you shouldn't be on that side."

As I found out. It is now back where it belongs.

I have two lefties and they both love my .45 Hi Point carbine. Not sure it that is helpful.
