OK, so I was originally looking for a holster for one of my P80 G17 builds with an Amazon light. I looked high and low... reasoning was I needed one for my range, they have a Holster rule...

Anyway, I came across these light bearing holsters from Orpaz. They are Israeli, and duty rated holsters from who I have spoken to in Israel - I know the guys from Zahal - I have made maybe a few purchases from them over the years >.>

So, Amazon carries them and they have multiple options when it comes to attachments.

Orpaz T-Series T40 and T40X Light Bearing Holster
Engineered to provide Law Enforcement standards with uncompromised security while incorporating unmatched adjustability and modularity into the design. Offers tailored adjustability to be compatible with your choice of a wide variety of lights and lasers. You won’t need to buy a new holster for a new setting. Simply adjust the T40 (small lights) and T40X (large lights)!

There are two types, Duty and standard (see Red Below)
Ignore the fact that they have holsters for G19, Sig, TP9... they are all the same (see Purple Below).
I ordered the Duty type.
I originally ordered a Glock one and a Sig one. Basically there are two types T40 and T40X

Only difference between the T40 (M) and T40X (L) are the lights it can hold and the length of the pistol.

The best part about these is the adjustability (see below) you can adjust for width and at the business end it telescopes in and out for pistol length which accommodates threaded barrels and comps.

Overall I have had nothing but great experience with these and as you can see in the actual pictures with firarms that are next you don't even need a light (see Steyr below) between the adjustable width, and length just about any firearm will work. With or without light and it will even work with standoff devices (aka rail mounted comps).

Thanks for posting, I'll have to look into these and see if any of my distributors carry them. As a dealer, I'd love a universal holster of decent quality w/ lots of attachment options.
No problem! If you need any other pics or a different firearm let me know. I have a few others to slide in there too with or without wml's.

Orpaz is in the US too:

And they have a "Become a dealer" link at the bottom of page.

You would think I own stock in them lol...

They sell extensions for that telescoping part. So I can even fit a Glock 34 with a comp - not sure on 17L but I don't see why not.

Works in T40 and T40X

They also sell a subcompact adapter lol, it's on that same accessory page.

The one thing I have not tried is the quick detach/attach system like Safariland and Alien Gear have. It is fairly easy to swap though with just the two screws on the back.

I have belt loop, belt loop long, paddle and drop leg. I just move the shells between them.

@ajole Awesome aren't they? lol

The polymer feels sturdy etc.

I guess if I had to pick something, it would be the magnet on the telescoping end. I can see that losing power over time, they do sell spares though lol. I put the leather strip on the magnet anyway as I don't want it to stick as much. Much smoother with the medium thickness strip, there is a thicker one included also that I have not tried.

And NOT made in CHINA!!! OK not US either, but I'll take Israeli any day.
