New to Hi-Point and the forum but my question is this: I could not find a 9mm carbine anywhere but did come upon one that is the pink camo and bought it. Now I want to get rid of the pink. Best way to do this is what I'm looking for. Thought of just painting but heard it doesn't last, saw a stock at Hi-Point but will still have to paint some of it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

A replacement TS stock can be bought from HP for $40 I believe.
The primer and paint and prep work might add up to the same amount.

If you do paint it the plastic needs a really good scrubbing with a striper or a good cleaner like ajak or something. It has a release agent on it. Prep work is really important if you want the paint to bind with the plastic and stay put.

@cicpup has done a very nice white Stormtrooper paint job on a carbine. Prep work is very important.

I'd say SWAGA has the best suggestion. Just order a new stock. Or live with the pink knowing almost no one will steal it since it's not a "manly" color. I, personally, would love a nice teal, mint or robin's egg blue.
