    Forumites,

If you would please allow me to summon all of your good will to my aid.

I will have my future decided at the mercy of one singular test.

    Many thanks,
Hopefully I won't be crazy tomorrow.

Sending good vibes and juju your way. Do you require a sacrifice of an adult beverage to your good fortune?

    Best of luck!:)

Remember, it's no big deal...you can always just join the Army!:D

The one test I did for post-grad was the MAT, pretty much a joke. The MCAT requires reasoning, and from what I've read of your writing here, you can do that!:p

Very best of luck. As a former medical school professor, I know what you're getting into!

Good luck on that MCAT. I really hope that you get a score that helps you get into the school of your choice. I have learned a lot more about what doctors go through in order to be doctors, over the last couple of years, and I have developed a very healthy respect for what they do.

Standardized Testing is no big deal. If you know it, you will be fine!
They will know what you have retained. Cramming is useless, without
a good knowledge base to back it up. ;)

Well... It was certainly the hardest test I've ever taken.

One young man voided his test and left in tears.

They changed it this year to be more accommodating to non-traditional testers (added a psych and sociology section).

They also made it a closer representation of medical boards exams. So it was incredibly difficult and detailed. I'm talking requiring memorization of all amino acids and intimate knowledge of every enzyme and protein involved in metabolic cycles.

To top it off the physics section was very engineering geared. All circuits, fluid dynamics, and fiber optic wire. So I'm that respect I was in over my head.

Based on the comments of other testers I feel fairly confident the scoring scale (every test is curved based on your test group) will help me out somewhat...

    Now we wait till June...

I keep my fingers crossed for you. It sounds like a real ass kicker of a test--definitely harder than the GRE. I look forward to hearing good news in a couple of months.

So how did it go? Fearing that the lack of a follow-up is not a good omen...
