Where does one go for parts when the internet fails them? Got a friend looking for a yoke screw for a 29-2. Internet has come up short. One that midway had listed didn't fit, thread and diameter were different.
I remember when Ruger had parts available. You looked at the exploded part diagram and ordered from them what you wanted. Not anymore it seems.

They have 2 different ones. There. They have the old style and new. It's a common part for 2 different frames N and K I believe.

Only see a 29 and 29-3 model close to the 29-2 Under the N some say 2 required?? and the other crowned blue? Maybe that is it?
Anyone have one to take a picture of?

May have to do that or find a local S&W gunsmith I guess.

Smith is a good start as they will still fix old revolvers. Now it might cost you an arm and a leg, or was it a leg and a foot.

Call them. They don't show everything on their website

Call to S&W was referred to places to call. They don't have parts for 'older guns'

Sorry to hear that, they sent me screws for my old 29-3, but that was 8 years ago.
