There you go.

NOT that realistic, but I am sure you could make something that would cover the gap between the heatshield and rail.

OK...let's try this.... HP's prototype stock. They tell me it will hit the market mid to late summer. Pretty sharp....

holy crap. thats the first actual picture of the new stock that we've seen(unless I missed it). I'm not too keen on the skeleton part either, but the rest is pretty sweet. I want to see it with normal covers rather than the chrome though.

what do we know in pricing? If its cheap i'll buy one just to have and i'll mod and goof off with my other stocks.

I like that!
I just switched back to my original from the ATI, last night. I think I prefer it. I did dump about a half of a tube of silicon caulk in the voids first. Didn't fill them, just kind of layered the bottom of the voids. It sounds a lot less hollow now. And just a little more heavy.

I like it, it adds symmetry and balance to the stock, almost like a haiku...

Why do you need a rail that goes from the front of the gun to the back? You can only mount 1 sight at a time on it and with a scope mounted on it you couldn't put anything else on it or it block the scope. there is such a thing as too much . And all i want is may a 4" rail to mount UNDER the stock toward the front for a tac-light!

Its called support and co-witness.

Full rail offers support (on some guns) and heat desipation. but most importanly you can mount a variety of steel sight and holo scopes and have the ability to co-witness (see through both of them).

Oh yeah, they look COOOOOOOOL!!!111

Look at the magazine floor plate, thats a 4095 there or should I dare say.............4595!
The receiver cover looks even longer than that of the 4095, dontchya think?

Also, didn't Hi-Point say that the 4595 was the first gun the new stock was being released on?
