We’re trying to normalize crazy powerful, so the .357 looks more tame.

Herco is a shotgun powder that is also used for 45acp, 45 Colt, 38 Super Auto+P.
I used Herco when I reloaded 357 Sig. still I prefer Power Pistol.

Well, hell, he's already gotten about a bazillion suggestions for the .38 and has flatly rejected our well-reasoned arguments for the .357. There isn't much more to talk about. It's time for some good ol' thread drift at this point!

I still kinda want a 1911 rated for +P so that I can spring swap and shoot .450 SMC. :)

    Some day.

Yeah. I couldn't make it to the LGS last night after all so I'm planning a trip today. But SWoMBO has already managed to put a "run this errand" onto me last night and just stacked another on this morning. :p

Since I’m no longer talking to him can somebody tell him to trade @ajole R51 for it?
400 miles round trip at 21.4 mph average for 18.69 gallons at an average Ohio price of $2.006 adds $37.49 which is a wash with driving around to your LGS’s transfer fees and background checks.
Can somebody tell him that ?!

If I buy or order through the LGS, they waive transfer fees and background check fees. If I had a private transfer sent to the LGS, then they charge.

My favorite LGS's charge around $30 total for transfers. There's another LGS which charges $5. I've used them twice, the last time for Ajole's R51. However, a new guy took over the store and was kinda a dick so I don't think I'll go back again.

And I'm still not driving nearly 6 hours round trip.

And it was more than just a try. It was an excellent contribution to our effort.

I'll bump it up to the large box and throw in a thousand .357 cases too, no extra charge!

Yeah, it's not a great .38 powder but, I've probably got 15 lbs. of it so....

In his usual passive aggressive way even Rach is trying to convince you.

It's a deal he's too cheap to pass up. His justification would be the cost of brass. Now with brass for both, dies that do both, and the same boolitz his inner cheapskate is literally being forced to buy the .357.

I lied. It was the .357 I did a previous trade with, so there's only 555 of them.

HOWEVER, I did find another couple hundred mixed headstamp .38sp.
