If you spend some time around here you will not hear anyone say they are crap. Read all the posts and see what members here who actually have them and use them have to say. As is mentioned many times in this forum are gun types called snobs. These are people who have no first hand experience with these weapons and just because they are inexpensive look down their noses at them. Are they perfect ? No. Are they crap ? No. What they are are inexpensive pistols that simply go bang when you pull the trigger. They are not competion quality guns but I will say they are pretty accurate and will shoot better than most people can aim. Why not see for yourself. They can be had from 100 buck to 180 or so. Go get one and then you tell us why we all like them.

Got a buddy who has 2 glocks in .45. He fired my C9 and his only complaint was that it wasn't a .45! That is easily remedied and he wants to buy a JHP also.

I have both the C9 and JHP. They work good for me. Wouldn't call them crap from what they've shown me. And if they do crap out gotta love the warranty!

ok thanks for the info. is the grips just as crappy as the grips on the carbines. i dont like the original stock for the carbiines and everythiing iincludng the grip looks and feels...not durable. however i do love the shape. o yeah dose the 45 come iin a version that has a barrel that comes out further so it could be threaded?

Again, it has a lifetime, transferable no questions warranty. So it doesn't hold up. I get a free fix, or a new one free. I have an opinion that a lot of the people who don't like the Hi Points may be the ones who could never afford to buy a new pistol until these prices, so they always bought new, and never had to break in a gun. They were always done before they got it.

Don't believe the above!! They are not worth it. Just leave them right there at the gunshop. I'll go ahead and buy them all up so no one feels robbed. I have saved several of the poorly informed from a couple carbines now and will save people from buying a few of the pistols too.

OK, integrity just got the best of me. Hi-points are amazing and the only problem with them is finding them occasionally.
