Yeah, I was grumpy. But I do have to note there are some idiots with CHL permits.

In My CHL class there were 9 people. 7 were normal (including me) the other 2 were complete idiots that I'd rather not be next to on the range.
My point is: Just because they have a CHL, doesn't make them capable.
Lot's of nutjobs out there with $240. Be safe and respect guns.

I had one nut job in my class. We were all asked to present our firearms for inspection and also so they could be displayed to the class to teach the various brands, types, operations etc. We were very strictly informed no loaded mags or ammunition on the table or within reach. Well one guy chose to ignore this and pulled out his loaded mag while the instructor was talking and proceeded to stick it in the mag well, drop it back out and repeat just for a something to do kind of thing I guess. The instructor let this happen about three times before he removed the magazine from the guys possession until time for the live fire test. I will admit the guy was making me nervous as well.

I really don't carry too much anymore, but then again I really stopped driving cabs when I moved up here (and honestly, I miss it a bit...)

For me, it's simply a tool. While I'm VERY passionate about citizens rights as anyone here can attest (sometimes TOO passionate about the common man in some cases for some tastes), I don't carry to JUST carry.

Then again, that's the beauty of having rights. Custom living at it's finest!
