So I put a T.S. On lay-a-way today!! Yeah!! Anyways when the guy brought the box out it had a red dot sight of some type in it. The store owner said thats how he sells em. Did anyone elses come with this?? Or is it something the store is doing?? There was a box in there with some other stuff too. The guy at the counter and i were talking about it after he put the weapon in the safe. (At Frontier outfitters they seal up the weapon in the box after you inspect it before it goes on lay-a-way then you inspect it again when you get it off) The guy was saying something about how they come with two mags also. Does anyone know if this is true? Thanks for the support guys and gals.

Mine came with the red dot too. I hated it and switched to a leapers 4 X 32. See it in the review section.

They come in different configurations. I ordered mine from R&R Arms. TS carbine with iron sights, sling, 1 mag, and the adjustment tool. Bare bones but for $213 I ain't crying.

Got mine from cabela's with a foregrip included. Sounds like they come to different vendors in different ways.

Yeah i think it is just a el-cheapo BSA red dot. I will likely put it in the parts bin for use/sale later on. I have a extra halo sight in the armory that i think will fit the bill very nicely....

Just being nosey but what other than paper targets, cans, bottles, etc. lies ahead for a 9mm carbine in AK? Plan on doing any hunting with it? From what I hear the skeeters there might make good targets?

You hit it on the head. All i use any of my 9mm for is paper punchers. They are just toys for now but if SHTF then i got a few more weapons..lol...That and i can cast two 9mm rounds for the amount of lead it takes to make one 45 round. About the only thing it would work for is rabbits, skeeters and other small critters. I am sure you could take a moose with one but i wouldn't try it unless i had no option. Basically the same thing as folks owning several different AR's no real hunting need just fun at the range. That and there is a lot of gun-snobs here so i like showing em up the storms and what not with the 995....lol
