hi gang
was out plinking with o/s 995 (ive got about 800 or so rds thru it).
was using umc 250 rd bulk box loading 5 at a time.
i squeezed off the 4th rd. and BOOM...
i stood there blinking like an idjiot!!! :blink: :blink: :blink:
i proceeded to check myself out(im ok)
then i looked at the gun the bolt is jammed open
i cant move it, anybody else ?
guess ill have to send my baby back to the mothership.
now i be bummed

hmm squib round maybe?? Well glad you are OK man i think someone was watching out for you there......I am sure the mother ship will fix it up nice and give you a new mag for the trouble.....

no squib. i watched where each bullet hit the target slow fire.
bought a couple kids plastic dinosaurs at a garage sale for 25cents.
death to barney !!!!!
which reminds me...
i hate you you hate me lets go out and kill barney
i want to send it back hopefully friday otherwise i wont get a chance to for 12 days or so.
get to test the warranty.

more than likely a case ruptured. if there is a defect in the brass of a case, it can seperate from the case wall and vent to teh side like this:



it can seem at the time like a huge explosion. BTDT. inspect your carbine close of at allpossible post pics so we can ascertain more.

aaargh me buckos !
took the little beauty to lgs
he gave her a taste of the lash
she is ready to cooperate now!
translated...
lgs took the bolt apart she freed rite up
it came partially unscrewed
(like her owner)
caused the problem
no expansion he sez go to go
sorry for the false alarm.
thanks for teaching me something here guys. :-[
