PSA is trying to buy Remington Ammo for $65 million! Lots of other neat stuff in this edition of TGC News.
AND WE NEED MORE MFG AND GUN Corporations in FREE STATES, not Commie States!! South Carolina is good to go, for now...I am amazed at the aggressive moves PSA has been taking, from manufacturing a diverse range of AR and AK platforms to their one Gen 3 Glock knock-off. When I first started dealing with them, they were just a place to order some ammo at decent prices and other firearms and accessories.
I used to live a matter of blocks from one of their brick-and-mortar stores in Columbia, and when I was in there one day, a customer was asking for a traditional bolt-action hunting rifle, to which the counter guy responded that they were moving into the tactical rifle-only model. They were making big changes a while back.
There was a stretch where they were getting really sloppy with their order fulfillment, and that most likely had to do with growing pains associated with their expansion, but they've really put some work into professionalizing their operation.
I hope this works out for them and that they aren't getting to far out over their skis. They've been bringing a lot to the gun community, and I'd like to keep them in that game.
You do realize that Remington moved 90% of its operations and HQ out of NY and Conn. years ago, right? How about the fact that ALL of their ammunition is manufactured in Arkansas? HQ in North Carolina? Brand new-ish facilities in Alabama and Kentucky?AND WE NEED MORE MFG AND GUN Corporations in FREE STATES, not Commie States!! South Carolina is good to go, for now...
Hence you need to talk nicer to people... I'm HOPING MagPul actually did leaveHence my educational statement suggesting he do more research...
Good gravy, you're out of date! Freedom Group doesn't exist and became Remington Outdoor Company before acquiring and shutting down DPMS. (Small reason I'm so stoked that I got an original DPMS Full BCG for the LR308.)Hence you need to talk nicer to people... I'm HOPING MagPul actually did leave
But did not verify that. I knew that Freedom Group* moved south, FYI. I'm talking
about Free States building up and Commie States losing our business. My beloved
S&W is still in Mass-holes which is troubling, but they are still going strong.
Generally, the move to Free States is strong, but we'd all be better off if it keep on rolling!
He's been a bit grumpy lately. It has a lot to do with his sub-par housing. The place he was living in had some nice, if a bit aged and weathered, trim. It was in every room and it gave the place a comfy feel. Even if he didn't realize it. But he had to move and his new place has no trim. Not inside or out. None what so ever. It leaves him feeling unsatisfied. Good news is he's planning a move to Texas and his new place has some very fine trim. Real high quality. Expensive Redwood, or so I've heard. So once he gets settled in and starts enjoying his new home with the exquisite trim we should notice a significant change in attitude.Hence you need to talk nicer to people...
Dude. You just got played. You did all of the research for @undeRGRound . Now, he doesn't have to do it.Good gravy, you're out of date! Magpul bailed on CO as soon as the mag cap law came in to existence.
Savage builds 300k rifle a year in a Canada, good luck getting them out of there or Mass.
Ruger has plants in NH, NC, and AZ but you'll never get them to leave Connecticut.
Winchester and Browning are just extensions of FN anymore and built in the US and Europe.
And when have you ever known me to speak more politely than this?
I was going to say something....but then he said this....Hence my educational statement suggesting he do more research...
And that's when I realized he literally had no clue at all.Hence you need to talk nicer to people... I'm HOPING MagPul actually did leave
