I want to have my 995TS barrel threaded 12x28 to accept my silencer. How do you remove the barrel from the receiver?
    Thanx,

First off, if you havr a legal suppressor, you should know how to. Its pressed in.

Second, you dont need to remove it if your doing it yourself. A lathe isnt necessary, you just need to be careful. Heres a good link on threading - http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sour...faHhkO5r9E2Rv8uhR3RPC2w&bvm=bv.71778758,d.aWw

You may need a thread adapter. Also, being that the longer barrel will give added velocity, you will need some good sub-sonic ammo for the supressor to be effective.

I dont know the OD on the 995 barrel. But i know i dont need to cut my 4095 bbl to thread it. If i needed to cut it, the tooling to do so would cost as much, if not more, than having a shop do it.
