a hugh thank you to Hi Point for updating my gen 1, 995 carbines. over the passed months, i,ve sent 4 of my, "new to me", carbines in to them. its amazing how people can their distroy their weapons. But, how can you not be happy with the great work they do in the Hi Point repair department . all for free. a big thank you to their tech., Mike G., seams he has worked on all of them so far. would be nice to meet him some day. And you have to love the repair sheet they send back with each carbine, listing the serial number and all repairs completed and replaced. I have 2 more, 1 still needs repair badly, its the worst of all 6, the last i,m not sure i,ll send in. i bought that one new in 2007. it has a lot of wear and tear , but still in nice condition. and yes, all of them are gen 1, as some say, monkey guns. i just like the old style. so, if you ever have a problem with a carbine, fill out the repair sheet, mail the carbine to them, sit back and wait a short while as they service your carbine. it will then be returned as new. great warrenty.
