Under Ruger’s Ownership, the Great Marlin 1895 SBL Is Better Than Ever
Been chomping at the bit to see how a Ruger-made Marlin will handle and shoot? You won't be disappointed. The author's test gun averaged sub-MOA groups.

Even if I was gonna drop that kind of money, I'd wait for real reviews from people who don't accept advertising with Ruger
Then shoot one and get back to us after your review.

A few things. The author did a good job of muddling the message, but it is NOT averaging sub MOA groups, only two of 12 groups were sub MOA.

That said, it DID average 1.125 inches. 1.047” is one MOA, so that’s a very accurate gun.

Are they all like that? I hope so.

Second…a stainless and laminate Browning BLR is about $1300 MSRP. So the price isn’t out of the norm….and the Ruger has a tritium sight and threaded barrel, which no one else has on an OEM lever gun.

The guy may be a shill…but unless he’s outright lying, the groups and features say the gun is good.

I will have one or two of these. I am waiting on the 336 XLR. And the 1894 CSBL 357 Magnum or 1894 SBL 44 magnum. The 44 magnum would match up well with my Ruger SBH.
