The safety sticks and goes into Safe a little stiff. I have to work the slide slightly to get the saftey to engage.
Is this normal ??
Anyone have any solutions ??

It's not normal, it shouldn't stick or be hard to engage/disengage. However, on the flip-side, you also don't want the safety to engage/disengage on it's own.

Try removing the left grip panel and see if there is anything impinging the movement.

Mine too was a little tight and put quite a hurting on the thumb after you moved it a few times. When I cleaned the gun I put some oil on the safety lever and then kept it in my lap (unloaded of course) while watching tv and worked the safety back and forth many times. It seemed to wear in a little and is now a good bit better.
