Strongly advise for preppers-here's why:
A. This radio is sturdy with it's roll cage.Even drenching rain couldn't kill this mutant.
B. When the casing cracked from falling off the porch, duct tape after red loctite had said radio up and running instantly.
C. It's rubber screw-in antenna is more durable than a regular AM/FM folding metal antenna.
C-1: It can be screw-in replaced if needed.
D. It use readily available 'C' batteries, even in dorkwater.
E. I recieve FM radio stations from Summersville, Charleston, Spencer, St. Albans and Sutton.
Does anybody know of an outside antenna made for this radio, too?
