I made an appointment last week to get new tires on my wife's minivan today. So I went to the local independent tire shop. When he asked how I was I said I wanted to get some bullets made this afternoon, and he asked, what? So I told him, and he swapped out the tires. When I paid him I asked about his wheel weights, and he said he wanted to talk about that. We talked about what he had and said he would let me have his 5 gallon bucket of WW's for $20. I took it home and sorted WW's instead of casting. Man, I came out with about 80 pounds of lead WW's and I can sell the steel and zinc at a local scrap yard. I already have a lot of lead but I'll take more, especially now.
My son will be going in next week to get new tires, I'm gonna see if he'll call me when he has a 5 gallon bucket full.
