These guns should really come with warning labels... they are truly addictive! Here's 20 rounds offhand at about 25 yards at the old backyard range. Home-made target, can ya tell?? :D

I feel like the gun is capable of better, if I do my part, as is usually the case. I had a bit of difficulty with the sights, glare off the rear
when the sun was shining, hard to pick up the front against darker colored targets. I figure I'll paint the rear sight flat black, something brighter on the front. I have a red dot on the way, so I might just do away with 'em.
Trigger is pretty stiff, but I'm getting used to it.
It's had about 150 rounds through it so far, a mix of 115 grain WWB, 124 grain Blazer brass, and some reloads I made years ago for my XD9, (before hurricane katrina drowned all of my reloading equipment) using a heavier, truncated cone lead bullet. The gun ran through them all without a glitch, even that flat-pointed lead stuff wasn't a problem. Next to try, hollow points...
Red dot, along with new reloading dies, bullets and a few more mags will arrive Tuesday or Wednesday, next weekend I'll go make some more noise. I could kick myself for waiting so long to get one of these. 8)

Conical bullets work well, 124g Horniday hollow points can give a very tight grouping at 50 yds.
Yeah if they werent so much more expensive thats what I would use but for shooting practice I like the FMJ's I shoot way to much to afford a hollow point habbit LOL.

When I got my first 995, I painted the front sight orange for easier target aquisition, but added a Sightmark Red Dot shortly thereafter. Made the front sight obsolete (except for holding the barrel shroud on.) Can't wait to get the Red Dot on the my new TS and punch some holes.

I'm not saying I shoot them all the time.I use them as a benchmark. Search back thru here and you will see some of my targets. Those are my benchmarks. All of my other reloads are tested against them. And yes, the hollow points were reloads also.
