I want an SKS, i found one that is in really good condition, chinese issue, It still has the cleaning kit with it for 329 tax and all. Is this a good deal, Ive heard of people getting them for around 150!!! i cant seem to have such luck. :'(
In these days, if it is in great condition, that sounds close to right. Locally used Norincos are going for mid high $200s--which makes me sick to think that my father in law used to by crates of them for a couple hundred or so and sell them at the flea market for like $100-$150 a piece -- AND WITH 500 ROUNDS AMMO.. 8*( Why I pissed off the early 90s I will never know... 8*(
I wish i we lived in the days of crates of sks's... But im sure my kids will wish that they could find one for 329 when they grow up. lol, btw i dont even have kids yet so what am i talking about. Inflation i guess
Be aware the SKS needs some maintenance in the firing pin and fire control dept. Just a couple of very well known things to make the weapon shine. BE SURE TO CHECK THE BARREL for wear before purchasing. The SKS forums will help more than we can.
