It’s a full inch longer than the P365. Is it really “micro”?

And…..it doesn’t come in 30 SC?

I’m not sure why, but the S&W grips always seem to look wrong, like a cheap vertical grip, or something.

Wonder how the trigger feels?

Yeah I got an email about that this morning. I have enough carry pistols... really... well I have enough pistols period. Pluse ARs AKs etc... ugh.

OK never enough, I got a new safe last year for my FFL. Could always move that and buy a cheap gun cabinet if I ever send in my FFL/Gunsmith app... been slacking. I did get my LLC but still have to get zoning cleared up. Biggest reason never sent.

Anyway I took myself off topic... It looks OK, but not sure if it does enough for me to get it.

Now I must admit I have been looking at this offering from S&W:

But about the same size as the Shield.

Maybe that's the next release?

I don't have a problem with their grip safeties but I agree that they do look weird.

Internal hammer instead of a striker and no trigger dingus. Might be OK.

I handled one at the LGS and put a box of 50 down range in the rental. Trigger is good, as triggers in hammer fired pistols generally are. The grip safety sux for me as I expected. I don’t know why, but I do not engage the grip safety reliably. I think it’s my grip, just don’t get that safety pushed in. Never had that problem with a 1911. Maybe it’s because Smith but the grip safety in upside down?

I have the same problem with the Sister-In-Laws Shield 380 EZ, and is the reason that I did not purchase the Shield 30SC EZ.

That grip safety makes them feel like a toy. Cheap crap. If you would have answered the phone back in September I had 3 different Caniks for you to test drive. They feel like a much more expensive gun. The TP9SC come with a flush fit 12, and extended 15. Just got some 17 rd also increasing your purchase on it.

A side by side trial with the EZ would be nice.

I agree about the grip safety. Never had a problem with it on any 1911’s or Xd’s, but the 380 EZ would only shoot reliable in my right hand. My left hand grip wouldn’t activate it reliably. Being a lefty, that was no bueno.
