I’ve pretty much decided that next year, late spring, I will add the SOT 2 to my credentials. After I receive it the world is wide open.

There are currently at least 4 AR’s in my collection that will likely be converted to a minimum of burst fire capable, depending on what the original configuration was. Pretty sure that I will also build an XM177. One of the AR’s will become a select fire, suppressed, SBR.

A former contractor told me the burst rifles were shit. He was a gunsmith/repairman on contract in Iraq. That's a waste of money in my opinion. You might be molding a turd and paying big bucks to do it.

He said MINIMUM of burst fire….

But yeah, burst is a bad joke, especially if it’s the type that doesn’t reset, so you shoot two of the three round burst, and the next trigger press gets you only one shot.

MUCH easier to build full auto, and FA is far better in use by any user that isn’t an idiot.

They are frequently known for 3, 2, 4, 5, 1 bursts. Problems waiting to happen. Half good Idea that never worked right.
