Hey I'm sure some of you guys know a good way to fix a cracked stock. My Mauser has a large crack behind the bolt. It wasn't there before I went to the range and shot it some. I dunno if the previous owner just pushed it back together before selling it or if me shooting it caused it to crack. Either way, I'd like to fix it before it splits any worse. I'll put some pictures of it up later tonight if possible. I'd rather not damage the finish if I can get away with it.

I have an extra stock for my Israeli mauser (one of the unissued ones), but I assume it was stored in the same conditions as the rifles. It saw a bunch of moisture, and is warped. Can your guy steam, and straighten a banana stock?

I assume steaming and bending would fix it, if that is what warped it in the first place.
