Suggestions on electronic hearing protection

So as to not hijack another topic on hearing. I find it uncomfortable when another shooter comes in and is assigned to shoot in the next stall. Not complaining as I simply step out and put additional ear plugs in over my muffs and go back to doing my thing. Just wondering, do the electronic ear muffs really work that much better and does anyone have suggestions as to brand preference?

I have a set of Walkers...I keep them right on top of the gun safe for my wife, or me, to use if time allows, just in case someone breaks in and we have to shoot. Gun fire, from inside a room, will totally destroy your hearing.

I use them at the range at times, but most of the time just use a regular pair of ear muffs.
